Families travel from across the United States and overseas every summer so their sons can participate in this unique summer camp experience. No other camps in the United States are designed specifically for boys with ADHD. Families can choose to rent a house/apartment in one of the local beach towns (Margate, Ventnor, Ocean City), or stay at an off-shore hotel where we have a discounted rate for camp families.
Trip Camp is a day travel camp which campers attend Monday through Friday. Each day of camp begins with an interactive lesson in topics pertaining to social skills, independent skills, and (non-academic) executive function skills. The rest of the day is spent out on trips. An itinerary for the week is provided to registered camp families prior to their arrival at camp.
Trip Camp is a small program with a high camper return rate each year. As a result, there is limited availability for new campers.

Tuition is all-inclusive and includes camp tuition, admission to all activities, lunch, snacks, camp t-shirt, etc.
Registered camp families are encouraged to stay at a local off-shore hotel, where we have a discounted room rate. We can also provide the name of a realtor for families who would like to stay in one of the beach towns (Margate, Ventnor, Ocean City).
Hello Trip Camp Families! My name is Bob Orlowski and I have been a special education teacher for nearly a decade. Working with children and teens to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to succeed is the reason I got into this field.
As a father of a son with ADHD, the work we do at camp is very close to my heart. I live the ups and downs and realize the importance of the work and what it takes to help our campers succeed.
I became Director of Trip Camp in 2022 and enjoy spending my summer watching the boys learn and have fun while spending time with a group of boys who can be themselves around each other.
Born and raised in the area, I am excited to welcome you and your son to the shore this summer.
Trip Camp utilizes a multi-step application process in order to ensure that prospective campers can be successful in the program. Please note that each year there are many more applicants than available spaces.

Families who are interested in beginning the application process need to add
themselves to the camp mailing list.
Should there be space available you will receive an email from us.
Please sign up for the Margate Camp Trip Mailing list to be notified once dates and availability are determined. Please note that adding yourself to the mailing list does not guarantee admission for the following summer. We will contact you should there be availability for this summer. There is no need to check in to see is there will be available space, you will be notified.
